Dr. Doltaine Etienne

I am Doltaine Etienne, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 15 years of nursing experience in high-acuity settings, including the ICU, ER, and CVICU. In addition to my critical care background, I have been practicing as a psychiatric nurse practitioner for one year, providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care. My goal is to create a supportive and respectful environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make informed decisions that improve their current situation and overall well-being.

In Our First Session Together, Here’s What You Can Expect

In our first session, we will begin with brief introductions and discuss the concerns that brought you to treatment. I will take time to understand your symptoms, challenges, goals, and personal history so that we can develop a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs. My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and focused on helping you feel comfortable as we begin your mental health journey together.

The Biggest Strengths I Bring Into Our Sessions

One of my greatest strengths is the ability to combine clinical knowledge with compassion in the delivery of care. My years of experience in critical care nursing have strengthened my ability to remain calm, attentive, and thorough, even when patients are facing complex or overwhelming situations. I believe in empowering clients through education, support, and partnership, so they can make the best and wisest decisions for their mental health and life circumstances. Reaching out for help can be difficult, but you do not have to face your challenges alone. I am here to support you with empathy, respect, and understanding every step of the way.
